A great spot to explore Zamami island. Incredibly helpful staff, offering frequent bus services to Zamami’s pristine beaches. An older property but well maintained. Great coffee too!
We had a great stay! The service was excellent – the staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The location is perfect, with good local restaurants nearby.
The room was spacious and clean with seaview. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was Japanese/western style alternating.
Overall, we had a really pleasant experience and would definitely choose to stay here again. Highly recommend!
The whole experience we very organized. We were picked up on arrival and everything was well set up. The man and the young girl are very nice and professional. They were incredibly helpful and set up excursions for us when we asked. The room is clean. It was one of the best travel experiences and we have had. Arigato!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Property was very clean safe. Beds are comfortable. I had trouble with booking ferry, staff helped me book ferry home. Nice
That staff provides free transportation to hotel and ferry. Staff accommodating and let me check out later.
The manager was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was v nice, and hotel was clean. Only thing to watch out for are the eco friendly policies which limit shower times (although this wasnt an issue for us)
This modest, family-run establishment tries hard to please. They are eager to answer questions and provide help with transportation and island activities. They prepare a generous traditional Japanese breakfast that must be ordered in advance. The guest rooms are large and rustic, and include amenities such as slippers, sleeping pajamas and towels for bath and beach. If you are looking to do a snorkel, kayak or stand up paddle excursion, I highly recommend Noah’s across the street.
Liked: cleanliness, very kind and helpful service by manager and staf, big room with vieuw on port, possibility to rent bicycle and electric car at hotel, environment with snorkeling possibilities and very beautiful beaches, very safe island.
Liked less: the price was a bit high for the off season situation.
The friendly staff and service were so good.
And there were various assortments, and the breakfast was very delicious.
If I have children after marriage, when I come back to Jamami Island to enjoy the water, I intend to stay here again.
Thank you again for the kind service of the employees.
I'll definitely see you again next time!😁
Nice property, quiet hotel with friendly staff. The only reason it isn’t a 5 star is they have a shuttle to one of the beaches and we were left there waiting for over 20 minutes and had to find a local to call the hotel and remind them to pick up. They were apologetic but we are lucky someone was able to call as my wife is pregnant and walking wasn’t an option.
Amazing place! Great location to explore Zamami and walking distance to Furuzamami beach. The property is really clean and they thought of every detail to make your trip effortless. Staff is super nice and ready to help you with any problem. After check out we were able to use showers and leave our backs. 5 star service and atmosphere. We would definitely go again. The property also provides and focus sustainable options and solutions.
Very nice staff. Helpful and kind. One worker fluent in English, the others very adept at using technology to communicate.
Nest the village and the beach.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Room comfort
Good service.
The hotel is very poor as probably other hotels in this destination. But all people was very helpful even without English skills.
Staff was friendly and accomidating. They offered free shuttle to and from the beach. Room has a great air conditioning unit which was much appreciated to get a break from the humidity. Hot water for showers was limited to conserve, mornings and 5pm-11pm, but the staff mentioned if you wanted hot water ahower outside those hours they would accomidate, just request at the lobby. Location was amazing, walking distance to the port or to the beach if you don't mind a hill. I did not get breakfast but I should have it looked good. Rentals onsite for transport options, small buggys of some kind and maybe scooters
I am surprised at the great reviews for this hotel. I think the hotel has a lot of potential but is poorly managed and the staff doesn’t communicate with each other.
1. Cockroaches. Not a lot and they offered another room, but you know they’re everywhere at that point.
2. The van drivers were very friendly and courteous but somebody forgot to pick me up the first day at the beach and that left me feeling untrusting and bitter. The manager said the van showed up after I managed to get a ride home from someone. If that’s true, it was 45m in the rain and things were closed and I was by myself.
3. I did not go to the 2nd breakfast and someone knocked on my door three separate times at 8:30am to wake me up over the course of 30 minutes after I yelled “no thank you.” I then asked them to not knock on my door again (there are no “do not disturb” signs.
4. They knocked anyway the next morning for the same thing and I had to ask the woman to leave twice, again yelling no thank you.
4. The pillows were more like filled bean bags. I asked for a normal cloth, soft pillow and the man was very nice in getting me one.
5. The manager (I guess?) doesn’t speak English, which normally is fine, and he used a translator but he still seemed to not listen to me when I talked about check out dates twice.
6. Breakfast was acceptable, but the worst I had in Japan.
