"I was disappointed overall with the El Rancho apartments. The apartment was very small, the kitchen was tiny and very poorly equipped to cook for yourself. There were broken sockets in the apartment and it is in need of a refresh. The apartment was not representative of the photographs shown on the Hotels.com website and I would not either recommend or stay again."

"The place was in an area where all homes apparently had to be behind giant fences and gates. You have to travel tiny, bumpy dirt roads to get there. The host was very strange towards me, making me feel uncomfortable on multiple occasions. She also has no problem just showing up at your supposedly private home and often pops out of her home when she sees you walking to your car (you have to walk by her home to leave or get to your parking spot). My rental car was also damaged while parked there....

"This is a lovely rustic property in the hills above Bolonia. The views and grounds are beautiful. Things to note: the roads are not paved well as you get near the house and there are stairs. "Our family of 5 plus my in laws stayed at this beautiful home. Everything was perfect. The rooms were all very clean and each had amazing views. Outdoor space was perfect for our large group. We had dinner every night outside and watched the best sunsets I have ever seen. The beach is short 10 minute walk and the town is just 10-15 minutes by car. We did day trips to Seville, Malaga, Ronda and Gibraltar."

Cute bungalow hotel close to beach
"Came here as a family. We had 2 bedroom bungalow. It was a little too tight for essentially 4 adults (parents and two young adult children). However- we recognize that and think overall the experience was fun. Nice staff, secure location, short walk to a clean beach, pizza is so good we ate there 2 times over two days, the beds comfortable, clean rooms. The resort has insect repellent devices in room. I wish there was a fan in the rooms to help with the air and insect repellent. I recommend bringing personal mosquito spray. The convenient store on site was helpful. The breakfast buffet was quality and had options for everyone. Bring a book, deck of cards or dominos and sit on your patio to enjoy some relaxation time. I recommend. "
