「The air conditioning and mini refrigerator are very noisy, especially in the rooms on the first floor. I was assigned a room on the first floor, and I couldn’t even take a nap because of the noise. My 3-year-old even got scared when the main AC unit turned on, because the whole room was shaking a bit. We got changed to a room on the third floor, but the refrigerator in this room was noisy too. One star for parking, one star for the front desk for changing our room, and one star for the location.」

But while the kitchen appliances were retro looking and cute, they weren’t functional for my family’s needs. I couldn’t get the oven to work, my pizza from the market didn’t fit in the compact fridge, and the microwave had Roman numerals on the dials for settings but I didn’t know that the settings meant.
