Property was clean, beds were comfortable and you can’t beat the views. The record player was a nice touch and we enjoyed a relaxing evening listening to music.
My family had an excellent time staying at the property. The host was very responsive and kind. The house was very clean and well kept. I would definitely stay at this property again.
Stayed here for three nights. Hosts directions and description of the property very accurate. Accommodations were very comfortable. Host was easy to contact and would respond back promptly. Appliances up to date, fire pit was nice in the evening. Very quiet and serene setting.
My wife and I had a wonderful time here. The place was very clean and comfortable, with amazing sunrise views straight into the room to wake you.
All amenities worked and the checkin process was smooth and hassle free.
I do recommended an SUV if driving, and the road is a little tricky to find if arriving at night but not impossible.
Rough beginning. House cleaner didn’t show and we had to wait several hours for the house to be cleaned. Owner treated us to dinner and was very apologetic. Otherwise smooth stay. Comfortable beds , only one bathroom. Great location.
Great property in a steller location. We wanted to get away and do some stargazing, and this is the perfect spot. Very Clean, neat and beautifully decorated. Water pressure for days!! Could have stayed in the GIANT walk in shower all day.
We forgot to add our selection to the record collection....will bring 2 next time we book. Will definitely be back soon.
Thanks

Liked: Communication
This space has many good features. It needs a better cleaning, just the little things that most women see and want clean. We found the kitchen cooking needs a little sparse BUT, when we contacted them, they were most responsive to resupply. We had great weather, saw a road runner, coyotes and ground squirrels at the place. We are pretty picky so take my input with a grain of salt. Good spot if you're heading out for the day then, plenty of ways to be outside or in for the evenings.
I booked this home as a quick week/weekend retreat to catch up on some much needed work. I needed a place to get away from the busy city and this was perfect.
Altho we did have a minor issue at check-in, the communication with the property manager was easy and they respond quickly. They were able to resolve any issues/questions I had instantly.
The space was well decorated and felt comfortable. Everything I needed was in this house. The rooms are very spacious and cozy and most importantly the A/C was perfect since the weather was very hot during my stay.
I really enjoyed the welcome snacks and coffee that was available in the kitchen. The house had all the utensils, pots, and pans you need for cooking and grilling which made it easy to just bring only the food to the trip.
The house has windows all around so you have great views overlooking into the desert landscape. There are a couple homes nearby but for the most part the space/property is super private.
Getting to the home is super easy. There is only one dirt road you need to take for about 5 min to get to the top of the hill where the house is. There is room for about 2-3 cars for parking.
The outside space is nice for morning coffee and late night star gazing. I think it would be nice if the rooftop porch was more welcoming and had more furniture. I did not spend time there since it was very bare and really hot during the day. Hopefully the owners will consider adding a spa/jacuzzi in the near future.

15 minutes from the south gate for Joshua Tree NP.
Quiet area. Clean property. Modern and up to date.
We enjoyed it and will recommend to others.
FYI. The access road can be tricky to find in the dark and the driveway would benefit from paving or more gravel and a light over the entrance gate. Nothing that detracted from our stay so not a big deal. Just be aware.
Wonderful house in a breathtaking location! So many thoughtful touches throughout; kitchen was well stocked and there were even record albums available to play on the stereo. We enjoyed our stay so much I would 100% book again.
Property was great, would recommend a bit more information on the driveway up to the property, very rocky, almost off-road quality. Had a 4-wheel drive truck so it wasn’t an issue but if you had a sports car, wouldn’t be able to get to the top.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
The place was cool but the shower drain was clogged, and I now have a fungal infection in my toenail from standing in the like 2 inches of backed-up shower water. So that's not great.
