One of the two elevators is not working. Some of the staff is clueless, and some don't speak a word of English. The shelves and closet are tight and poorly designed. Light fixtures do not provide enough light in the room. On the plus side: clean, plenty of parking, convenient location next to a good diner and major roads, the room is spacious, USB ports / power outlets are plentiful and well-placed.

Check in took longer than it should have. It took about 15 minutes with walking in with no one in line….It was a lot of the two employees looking at the screen trying to figure out whatever they were having a computer problem with. They did give me one complimentary breakfast voucher. My time is more valuable than a middling hotel breakfast. I would skip paying for the breakfast and recommend you go over to Round the Clock Diner. Proper York Co, PA staple for a good diner breakfast!! A/C wall unit in room is loud and cycles on & off all night long. I wasn’t impressed with the wall mount shampoo & body wash they supply. Bring your own stuff unless you wanna smell like a young man on the prowl… Musky The beds were pretty good and housekeeping did a nice job each morning while I was away. Pool & hot tub was in working order and was relatively not being overly used, however not many people seem to be booked over the Labor Day weekend 2026. Overall not a terrible stay, but I think I may try a different hotel on my next visit to York. Overall 2.5 out 5

I thought the room was nice. The pool area is also good. You can tell the hot tub is a little older than the pool (a refresh would be a simple upgrade, but I thought that whole area was nice. I will say, $12 for breakfast isn't worth it. I thought it was going to be better than a traditional "free" hotel breakfast, it was not. Go across to sheetz instead. The Staff was also pleasant.
