43 County House is a beautifully presented second floor, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom duplex apartment offering spacious accommodation over two floors. It has been superbly renovated to a very high standard of decoration and furnishings with great attention to detail. It is very centrally based being just outside the City walls allowing easy and quick access to the Minster (approx. 3 minutes' walk) and all the City has to offer. It comes with an allocated parking space in secure gated facilities.

Enjoyable stay in York
The property was great and the location was perfect. A couple of suggestions from a maintenance perspective: the upstairs tub drained very slowly and may be clogged. The dryer portion of the washing machine did not work (clothes were still very damp after multiple tries). The upstairs queen bed mattresses may need replacing as one side slopes considerably. The couches / chairs were a bit run down. It would be nice if paper towels were provided by the host. Besides these items, it worked out very well for 5 of us to comfortably stay here. We really appreciated the space and proximity to the city walls and York Minster.

We came to York for a short festive trip over Christmas. The apartment was comfortable and stylish, very well maintained. The check-in and check-out went smoothly, communication was Stays York was easy and efficient. The apartment is centrally located, just a quick walk to the city wall.
