" The location was excellent, for walking and for access to public transportation.The 3 bedroom suite had plenty of space for 4 adults. I had one meal in the restaurant, a chicken caeser salad, which was very good. But considering the cost of the stay, I expected the accommodations to be slightly better. There was supposed to be a VIP gift card, but the only perk offered was a free glass of house wine or beer in the bar, so I assume that was it. There was no coffee maker in the unit- just a kettle and instant coffee packets. (Coffee drinkers know this is unaccrptable.) The combination laundry washer/dryer was not ideal - no instructions were provided, and the dryer function ran so hot that the unit door would remain locked until it had cooled down, effectively holding my clothes hostage. On one occasion I tried to order a cocktail at the restaurant (full) bar, but the staff member did not know how to make any cocktails, so she told me my only alcohol options were wine or beer. Additionally, and not the fault of the Clarion, the casino across the river shot huge flames into the sky, every night from 9 to 12, on the hour. It was surprisingly loud and disturbing, once the initial fascination wore off. So, while I would stay in this area again, I would probably book different accomodations."

"The room I booked (twin) wasn’t available in check in The room and the overall hotel has become dirt over the last 18 months. I ordered a drink from room service and it took over an hour and wasn’t as the menu described. The bottle of wine that is part of my membership wasn’t available. Think that’s the last stay "

"This is a brilliant place to stay. The staff are super friendly and always there to help. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need and more. The pool, gym, spa also brillant. Food and coffee excellent too "
