Byakkoan is a rental cottage located in Yuda Onsen, a historic hot spring village in Yamaguchi City.
When you open the front door, there is a dirt floor that leads to the living room, and this is a house where you can enjoy the charm of a Japanese house, such as a Japanese-style room with a raised floor and an alcove.
In the living space with a pellet stove*, you can relax while watching the fire in winter.
Tatami space, you can enjoy a relaxing evening drink or play area for your children.Netflix is available for free.
It can accommodate up to 6 people, making it perfect for a casual sightseeing trip for couples, families, and friends.
The only facility available is a shower room, but there are many places in the area where you can enjoy day trip hot springs.

Yuda Onsen is a historic hot spring that has existed for about 810 years.
There is a legend called “White Fox Legend,” which says that an injured white fox healed its wounds by soaking in the hot water every night.
There are 5 footbath spots within walking distance, so we recommend visiting them!
Throughout the town, there are six types of cute "beckoning foxes," white "fox mailboxes," and manholes with illustrations of the white fox legend.
It looks like it would be fun to walk around looking for them.

*Pellet stoves are available only from late November to early March.

施設はシャワールームのみのご用意ですが、周辺には日帰り温泉が楽しめる場所がたくさんああります。

湯田温泉は、約810年前から存在していた歴史ある温泉で、
ケガをした一匹の白狐が、毎晩湯に浸かって傷を治したという「白狐伝説」の言い伝えがあります。
徒歩圏内には足湯スポットが5箇所あるので、足湯巡りもおすすめ！
街中には、6種ある可愛らしい“招ききつね”、真っ白の“きつねポスト”、白狐伝説がイラスト化されたマンホールなどがあるので、それらを探しながら散策するのも楽しそうです。
