"The pool was closed. The staff was unwelcoming. The fridge was broken. The shower had mold. The ice machine was broken. No vending on site. Gym discounted pass was not honored. AC worked well. Bed was soft. "

"We stayed here over Spring Break to visit White Sands National Park. The rooms had recently been remodeled and were better than expected inside, with the exception of the bathroom (still old) and the sofa bed had tons of debris underneath when pulled out and clearly had not been vacuumed in some time. The room had enough space for our family of 6. We had a mini fridge and microwave in our room. The breakfast was good, but highly congested. This was partly due to spring break crowds, and because the serving area is tucked into a corner but we enjoyed the available options. "

"My room smelled of old smoke. I asked for a non-smoking room but probably had been a smoking room at some point. There were no pots or pans in the kitchen area or anything to cook with! There were cigarette burns on the tub. Room was clean. No do not disturb sign for door. Staff at front desk was incredibly polite. Wish more people were so polite. "

"We like that the property is pet friendly and returned this year as a result. The breakfast is amazing. White Sands Bowl is excellent. Not huge, but a great way to start the day. The green chili is delicious! It is an older motel, but it has been updated. I like that the lamps had USB ports. Thank you for another comfortable stay!"

"Clean very large rooms for a structure built in 1899. Room cleaned each day, excellent restaurant that the locals flock to. Very nice hikes close by. Just remember you’re at almost 9000 ft altitude. Rooms are air conditioned but hardly need it. "

"This was our second at this property. We love it. Very clean, quiet. Property owners attentive to issues and respond quickly. Would highly recommend. "
