"Everything about this cabin, the amenities, the area, the host was absolutely amazing! The cabin had all that was needed to be comfortable and cozy including the beautiful Christmas tree and holiday decor all around the place that made it feel like home! The two level decks were so nice to just sit and listen to the creek with a book and glass of wine and snuggle up on the daybed with some blankets! The outside fire pit was nice to sit in the evenings to make smores! Nature was all around! The walk down to the creek was perfect with all the lush trees and other cute cabins along the way! The drive to the cabin was easy, alittle bendy roads leading up to the cabin but not at all scary!! (that was a fear of mine but it wasnt bad at all!) Walmart was right down the road less than 10 minutes. While here, Mercier Apple Orchard was also down the road and bought some apple butter and some other little trinkets. A nice stop! The downtown area was only about 10 minutes away and a must see! We did the one hour holiday train ride which was just perfect! We saw a lot of the country side! TN and NC are close by which we did a day trip to each especially if you need liquor - Murphy, NC is close. Tom the host was very quick to respond when needed. All in all, my family of 5 adults really enjoyed ourselves and felt right at home in this lovely cabin. We didnt want to leave! "

"We traveled to the area for our 5th year anniversary and enjoyed the quiet, quaint, cabin. Wifi was a little weak but wasn't a big concern for us. The cabin is nice and simple for just what you need to enjoy a cup of coffee on the back porch and listen to the rumbling of the river, the hot tub was clean and pleasant during the cold nights. The only concern I would say is the bed was too firm for our liking. Obviously, we slept, but I could suggest a foam topper or little softer mattress. Pickier guest might find this a bigger problem. Overall, it served our purpose, and I would come stay again to getaway."

"Absolutely an excellent room. One of the best mattresses I have ever slept on! Great bar with Keuri coffee maker, coffee pods, real creamer, etc. Microwave and a sink! Great TV with Tubi for movies. Only negative, they need to update the outside!"

"We had an amazing time at this lodge we had 21 people adults and kids ranging 2-15 and we all fit comfortably with beds to spare. Lots of things for kids to do and play in the rec room and outside if weather permits. Would absolutely return! "
