「The walkway from parking to the door was incredibly icy and difficult to navigate especially carrying items from the car into the building. My daughter slipped and fell and I came close a number of times. There could be better management of clearing the walkway to keep it safer. The "clean" smell/scent in the room was overpowering! From the from the wind, to the livestock greeting us at the fence, to the dramatic sunrises, to the shy full of stars (and a meteor from the Taurids), the Hummel Cabin was just what we needed for our week of hikes in the Medicine Bow and Laramie Ranges.
