"Lodge was very spacious and clean. Owners great to work with, no issues. Property just beautiful. Great view of the water and chain. Amazing screened in porch. We spent an entire week at the cabin (12 of us, 10 adults and 2 infants). We brought jets skis, a fishing boat and rented a pontoon for the week. Plenty of room for the watercraft. "We had a delightful stay at Little Muskie Retreat. The cabin had everything we needed and wanted. It was extremely well cared for and the love the owners had for it was very visible. "We had a great time at the cabin. We really enjoyed the big deck, which had a gate for our dogs, the bonfire pit, and the dock was very, very nice! Loved sitting out on the dock at night and looking up at the stars. Tons of bedrooms and space for our family and friends. The host was amazing at communicating. We had one small issue and she remedied it immediately and checked back in on us, which we appreciated very much. Overall it was a great stay. "

"Nice quiet property on the lake. Check in process and communication with owner was smooth. Everything clean and in working order. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking but not enough drinking glasses. (They do have some plastic ones). Renter should be aware there are no basic spices not even salt and pepper. Overall a nice, quiet and relaxing place to stay."

"This was our second time at Hide-away-bay. Just like the first year, it didn’t disappoint. Kevin is a great host, and the property is wonderful. Perfect for a big family vacation. The beach area and water ‘toys’ were the favorite of the kids. Close enough to town, restaurants, shopping, yet secluded and peaceful. Will be back!"

"The owners of the property had great communication. This place was warm & cozy. The location is the best you can get in Manitowish. We could walk to the park, restaurants, get coffee, etc. we have a large pontoon and they had a great pier and access that made things easy. Our family loved it and would recommend this place to anyone. "

"It’s been said that this is better than pictures, and it’s true. The cabin is wonderfully secluded, has a beautiful private beach and the cabin itself is picture perfect. The pontoon available is wonderful. They have a canoe and kayaks available too. The fire pit is brilliant with its sunk-in iron bowl. The cabin itself was lovely. All the amenities you could think of from a coffee grinder to a griddle. We will definitely be back! "

"First of all, when we arrived we noticed a great deal of garbage dispersed all over the exterior of the property. There were lighters, cans, plastic, broken bird feeders, and cigarette butts throughout the outdoor space. We picked up as we went along, but likely did not get everything that was left by others. A few of the chairs in the kitchen are really loose and on the verge of breaking. We were very careful which chairs we used during our stay as to not make them worse, but they need some...

"First time renting this house, and we’ll be back again. Plenty of space to spread out, with our 4 kids and their families, never felt like we were on top of each other, which can happen quickly. Kitchen needs a bit more space, but that would be my only area to improve on. House was clean and no issues with anything. Our spot on Catfish Lake was tucked away from most boating traffic. The dock is a bit wobbly when boat waves get large, but all in all a great week for us"

"Tucked away in the northwoods is this little slice of heaven, perfect for a getaway from the busyness of everyday life. Beautiful property, cabin was immaculate! Fishing was great. Plenty of wildlife, including bears, fawns and so many eagles. Definitely recommend. Easy booking and excellent communication. Hope to return in the fall!"
