Soweit war das Hotel gut. Schade war, dass es am Wochenende keinen Saunaaufguss gibt. Das Hotel bezeichnet sich als Wellness Resort, dann sollte man erwarten, dass die Sauna inkl. Aufguss genutzt werden kann. Es gab noch nicht einmal eine Kelle, wir haben uns dann mit Wasser und einem Pappbecher beholfen.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, hervorragend gelegen und das Personal äußerst freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Lediglich der Wellnessbereich wirkt etwas unübersichtlich. Der Bereich mit und ohne Textilien befindet sich im selben Raum und ist nur durch eine offene Treppe voneinander getrennt. Dadurch war – z. B. im Außenbereich – unklar, wie man die Sauna nutzen sollte. Dieses Missverständnis hatten auch andere Gäste. Ein deutlicher gekennzeichneter, etwas größerer textilfreier Bereich wäre wünschenswert.“

Die Unterkunft ist gut, da direkt am Kurpark, gelegen, Zu den Einkaufsstraßen und dem Bahn- und Busverkehr liegt es nah. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, was aber nicht über fachliche Mängel hinwegtäuscht. Es ging vieles schief. Trotz mehrfacher Korrespondenz, wurde nicht aufgeklärt, dass man beim Abendessen auch nur einzelne Gänge nehmen kann. Außerdem wurde eine per Email bestätigte Massage einer anderen Person zugeordnet und dann ohne Information komplett gestrichen. Immerhin wurde nach heftigen drängen, eine kurze Massage als Ausgleich möglich gemacht. Bedingt durch eine Tagung im Haus, deren Gäste den Spa-Bereich nicht nutzen, war es angenehm leer. Bei vollem Haus, mit Gästen, die zum Wellness dort sind, ist es nicht auszudenken. Ein Ruheraum ist zu wenig. Auch nur zwei Duschen. Ein anderer Ruheraum ist mit einem großen Whirlpool kombiniert. Dieser ist extrem laut. An Ruhe ist da nicht zu denken. Außerdem muss der Whirlpool mit Textilien genutzt werden, obwohl der Rest des Raumes Nacktbereich ist. Da die Bar ist gut ausgestattet und war angenehm. Beim Frühstück, sind die Brötchen zu kritisieren. Die Körner Brötchen wirkt und wie eingefärbt. Das Abendessen ist wirklich überteuert. Man kann nur empfehlen, auswärts zu essen. Der Italiener Salvatore am Bahnhof, wäre eine gute Alternative. Zum Haus: In den oberen Stockwerken hat man eine tolle Sicht. Nachteil: Durch die riesen Fensterfront mit Metallgestänge, kann man in windigen Nächten, kaum ein Auge zu machen.

Wir wollten am Freitag Abend um 18 h dort essen. Man meinte, es gäbe keinen freien Platz. Mein Einwand, das 4-Tische nur allesamt an 2 Plätzen jeweils eingedeckt seien, war dem Service egal. Auch das wir nur 1 Stunde dort sein würden, wurde nicht gewürdigt. Wir haben das Hotel dann verlassen. Das ist kein Service und auch kein Lösungsmanagement. Ich werde mit Sicherheit nie wieder ein Fuß in diese Service-Wüste setzen. Auch der Direktor wollte sich bei mir noch melden, was er nach Ankündigung am Samstag bis heute nicht getan hat. Da hat jede kleinere Frühstückspension mehr Charme und wohl auch Gastempathie als dieses. Leider.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen ( Abends) im Hotel ist überhaupt nicht gut. In der lounge muss man leider sehr lange auf seine Getränke warten, aber der Barkeeper ist sehr freundlich. Die Betten sind eine Katastrophe! Nach einer Nacht ist man wirklich auf Massagen angewiesen . Die Zimmer sind sehr schön. Der Soa bereich ist wirklich toll, und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wunderschönes winterliches Winterberg

Uns hat der Aufenthalt im Hotel Oversum in Winterberg sehr gut gefallen. Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, hatten ein schönes Zimmer und viele schöne Annehmlichkeiten. Würde wieder dort Übernachtungen buchen.
