"This hotel was excellent, clean, fresh and had a resort like feeling. The free shuttle to and from the ship port/airport, and shuttle in the evening to the main street is very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and many options for vegetarians. The staff at the front desk were great along with the staff working the breakfast area (especially the tall thin guy taking our orders for the plated/buffet breakfast - super nice). The hotel is close to the main Venice area, and takes a few minutes to walk up/down the path but it is worth it since the hotel is so clean and not noisy at all. There are also a few place to eat close buy and grab a coffee."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Alana. The cozy balcony room I booked had a fantastic view of the old port and the location was fantastic. I was also on the top floor which I really liked so noise was not an issue. The room is small, but I expected it to be. The biggest downside was that before I went into bed, I noticed what looked like dried blood stains on the sheets. I'm sure they were clean and washed, but it was off-putting to see that. Also, the plaque on the wall with the hotel information and instructions said water was provided along with the free coffee pods, but it wasn't. Honestly, these things really did not hinder my stay, but I thought they were important to mention here. I would stay here again solely based on the location."
