The beautiful village of Ambleside (7.5 miles), the quintessentially Lake District town of Windermere (3.5 miles), and the lively town of Kendal (9 miles) are all within reach, each offering shops, pubs, eateries, and tourist attractions to explore on a day off from walking, hiking, or cycling.

The property sits at the back of the main house, which is also a holiday home, and offers access to a hallway with space to store coats and boots. The lounge/diner is a light-filled room with a feature fireplace housing a warming wood burner and inviting seating opposite the TV. Take the stairs up to the first floor, where you’ll find two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath and shower over. The king-size bedroom has plenty of space to unwind in and the welcoming single bedroom is perfect for one person or could serve as a place to store suitcases and create additional room.
