Escape to this seasonal rustic 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom A-frame cabin nestled on the serene shores of Grand Traverse Bay in Williamsburg, MI. With private beach access and stunning bay views, this dog-friendly retreat offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.

In the summer, enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, or swimming right from your doorstep. Nearby nature trails like Maple Bay Natural Area offer scenic hikes and peaceful forest paths. Families will love visiting the GT Butterfly House & Bug Zoo or renting a pontoon boat for a day on the water from nearby marinas.

As fall sets in, the region transforms into a kaleidoscope of color—perfect for leaf peeping, hiking, or cozying up with a warm drink by the bay, or enjoy day trips to explore the historic Grand Traverse Lighthouse or the tranquil Sand Lakes Quiet Area.

Spring brings the landscape back to life with blooming wildflowers, fresh lake breezes, and ideal conditions for birdwatching and golfing at nearby LochenHeath Golf Club, known for its spectacular views of the bay.

You’ll enjoy high-speed WiFi, a small fully equipped kitchen, and all the essentials for a relaxing stay. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The cottage was a nice “Up north” cottage. A few disappointments: the first coffee maker didn’t work and the second had a carafe without a handle. The beach chairs were a pile of twisted broken plastic. The biggest negative was the constant dripping of the shower.
