"We had an amazing stay at Eiger Lodge. It's half hostel and half hotel which is convenient for all types of travellers. We stayed in the hotel part and it was very clean. Beautiful views and very kind and helpful staff. One restaurant on site and had to bus or walk to others nearby. Would highly recommend staying here if you want to be in the mountains. "

"Did not like the fact there was not a shuttle or car service to the train station. It was quite a walk up and down a very steep hill. Would have preferred options for lunch and dinner. We had to walk to other hotels for lunch and dinner. The scenery was beautiful but it was at a cost. A taxi was roughly $25 francs one way to the train station. "

"Very lovely stay. Beautiful views of the lake. Room was large and very comfortable with a full size tub for soaking after hikes all day. The trek to the train station from the hotel is uphill but manageable. Food at restaurant was average. "
