"My husband and I had dreamed of staying at Salish Lodge for nearly a decade. We visit Snoqualmie Falls often, remembered the lodge from Twin Peaks, and always saw it as an iconic destination. Because of that, we decided to splurge on a room that cost over $700.
Unfortunately, the stay was very underwhelming. The front desk staff were excellent, but the lodge itself did not meet expectations. We paid extra for a waterfall view room, yet the view was mostly blocked by trees and rocks. The room was comfortable, and the bed, pillows, and pillow menu were standout features, but overall it felt more like a nice $300 room than a luxury $700 experience.
What surprised us most was how little there was to do without paying extra. Aside from the gift shop, lobby, and bar, public space felt limited. The hot tub and lounge area required an additional fee, which felt unreasonable at this price point.
Food and beverage were the biggest disappointment. Drinks were expensive, dinner was bland and unimpressive, and my salmon was slightly overcooked and flavorless. Breakfast was worse: soggy French toast, overdone pancakes, and flavors that did not work well together.
Overall, Salish Lodge felt like a property relying on its reputation more than delivering a true luxury experience."
"Room was very spacious and clean. Liked the sheer and blackout curtain option, cable, internet. Breakfast was decent - loved the belgian waffle option. Bed was comfortable. Pool and exercise room both nice and loved how fresh and new everything was and location was perfect. Free coffee/water/tea station was nice although coffee is weak. But overall 5/5 and will stay again. "

10/10 Excellent
"I wish I could give more than 5 stars! We had an amazing stay at this VRBO! The location was perfect—close enough to easily walk to shops, restaurants, and everything we wanted to explore, which made the trip so convenient and enjoyable. The rental itself was fantastic and had everything we needed. The amenities were excellent and clearly well thought out, making the space comfortable and easy to settle into right away. Everything was clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. Overall, it was an incredible experience and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place in a convenient location!"
Cascade Pines - Private Hot Tub | WiFi | Summer Pool!
8/10 Good
"In overall our stay was good. It could be better if cleaning people did a better job.All blinds are dusty. There was lots of dogs hair in the bedroom. We found several glass beads on the floor by fireplace. We had two little kids, who could easily swallow the beads… It would be a big problem….And it was a little frustrating after each use of the toilet in master bedroom to lift up a lid to fix it. Otherwise after flush water could run forever….Also TV remote controls were not working well because batteries almost died. After our complaint about the hot tub., that temperature is 95 degrees, and not going higher, in the very first day the company worker came in next morning to fix it, and he gave us some batteries for a remote control.Oh, one more thing, we tried to grill some meat, it was a pain…. The grill, definitely, needs to be upgraded.. There is just two little useful spots left, so it took forever to grill chicken…The cabin itself is nice and cozy."
