The location is everything as it is 1 street over from main street. The room was a nice size with 2 double beds and was clean with a large private balcony overlooking the street. The room had a mini fridge, a TV with limited cable, a telephone, great air conditioning and lighting. The bathroom was small with a very small and low toilet, low water pressure and a very small shower head, but the water temperature was good. Also limited counter space. Great location. Just steps away from Craigville. Rooms are clean and quaint. We loved hanging out on our private patio. We got a partial ocean view room, which basically means downstairs room. Next time we stay we are going to pay the extra money for a ocean view room , which is an upstairs room with a balcony and they must have really great views. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. They gave us a tour of their regatta suite and we would really love to stay there for our anniversary....

Such a great relaxing time - place is so welcoming , comfy , quiet , conveint to main street , stores , beaches.
Food is amazing ! Let me mention again the food is so so good.

Our 2 queen bed room was very spacious and clean. The balcony view overlooking the harbor was very nice. The property has ample parking with easy room access and is very centrally located. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

We stayed for 3 nights. We visited Cape Cod National Seashore on our arrival day. The next day we took a roundtrip ferry ride to Nantucket. The day after, a round-trip ferry ride to Martha's vineyard. Breakfast was included. We had a room on the 2nd floor which was nice and quiet.

Wonderful stay everything was perfect! Room with all the little touch’s . Lovely made to order breakfast in the morning, delicious cupcakes for an afternoon treat and cookies for a late night snack. Very quiet peaceful Inn overlooking looking the water. Attentive host highly enjoyed or stay!

Couldn't ask for more. The staff were extremely friendly and generous. The room was beautiful -- not overly luxurious, but full of character and with an extremely comfortable bed. One fixture on the bathroom sink was broken, and the TV was on the small side, but I would hardly call these complaints given how nice the overall experience was. And to top it off, the breakfast was amazing -- both the quality of the food and the service. We would definitely stay at the Captain Farris again.

My husband and I loved our stay at the antiques-filled Palmer House Inn. We were able to easily walk to the active Main Street and had our choice of excellent restaurants and gift shops to browse. We also walked to the beach (mostly sandy, but with many sharp rocks as you enter the water), rented bikes and rode to a lighthouse, and enjoyed the delicious breakfasts while sitting on the porch in the cooler weather. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone heading to Cape Cod.
