The condo is in a very good location in the village near restaurants and shops, and it had a reasonable rate. It was clean and basically as-advertised. We enjoyed our stay. For skiing we usually took the free village shuttle bus #4 to the base of Whistler, rather than walking about half a kilometer to the base. This is a good condo with a few downsides:
Music from the bar downstairs was clearly audible. It was louder on some nights than others, and played until about midnight. People who need silence to sleep will probably not be happy. We stayed Monday-Friday, so I don’t know how a weekend night would be.
The hot tub was down for repair during our visit.
Garbage and recycling had to be taken to the garbage room prior to checkout. You would expect this to be pretty simple, but it took at least 20 minutes because the garbage room is two levels underground, hard to get to, and not a nice place. No wonder the housekeepers don’t want to take the garbage down.
A firm called Outpost manages the condo rental. The Outpost people that I talked with were kind and helpful, however Outpost seems a bit persnickety with contract details, and the contract they sent me was 33 pages, though there was lots of white space on each page, but still…
