「Visited with family during labor day weekend and everyone loved the stay. The location of the property is absolutely amazing with access to many beautiful beaches in close proximity. The property does full justice to the surrounding views of mountain, ocean and star gazing in the night. It was clean and well maintained. Appreciated the small thoughtful articles placed in the house by the hosts to make the satay very comfortable. Highly recommended!」

「The road to get to this property is no joke! The write up on Shelter cove road is spot on. At the end of the road is a hidden gem. Black sand beaches, and quite a view. The property was going thru some renovations, but our room was spacious and clean. Open the door to your balcony, and the ocean is right there. Breakfast at the cafe was also very good, it’s not included with the room. 」

「We had trouble with the tv as there were no instructions. The grill for the cold air intake for the furnace had come undone and was hanging down . It was like that upon our arrival . It was not a problem though. Other than that it was a fantastic stay. The location was amazing! We enjoyed our stay very much and loved the light in the loft and the view.」

「The property was beautiful and the house was just enough for my wife and I. Myra met us when we arrived and showed us around the property and then give us our space to celebrate our anniversary. 「We stayed at this VRBO in 2022 and enjoyed it so much we had to come back! It is a great location to be near the ocean and take in all the beautiful sights around Mendocino. The Forest Suite is peaceful and relaxing... perfect for getting away from it all for a few days. We would venture out in the mornings to go on hikes or just do some sight seeing, and then come back to the suite to kick back and read a good book. Such a nice vacation! Highly recommended!」
