"My husband I enjoyed our stay at Linda’s home. It was perfect for what we needed, as we were in town for a family celebration in Westminster. It is a historic home, so as a therapist, I have to say that it would not be good for someone with orthopedic or balance issues since it has stairs with no handrail to get to the bedroom, and some of the wooden flooring is uneven. "The area was beautiful and very quite! We loved the cabin we stayed in. While we did run into some minor issues, staff was VERY accommodating and attentive. We hope to come back and would love to stay on the grounds again. They love dogs and that made us feel more comfortable. Many amenities and thoughtful items, such as soap bars, shampoo, toothbrushes, coffee, games, fishing items, fire pit with wood, and basically everything you need for a fun, enjoyable time. Wonderful property that is so close to Gettysburg, and staying in a piece of history at the same time. Absolutely perfect! Our whole family could be in one place for our daughter's graduation from Gettysburg College....

"The house was great. Convenient to Gettysburg, roomy, very nice house/cabin. I really like the upstairs bedroom with it's own bathroom. Bathrooms were clean, the upstairs one was a low entry. Had a nice laundry area. Only a couple of things were a drawback. The screened in porch had not been cleaned or aired out. It was unusable. "I originally picked this hotel because of questionable reviews of surrounding hotels and this was the only one not showing low stars. I am picky about hotels and this one by far was one of the best I have stayed at. It was very clean throughout the entire hotel and rooms. The staff was friendly and we had zero issues the entire weekend. The breakfast each day looked and tasted fresh and the food prep area and machines were clean. I absolutely would recommend this hotel if you are in the Frederick MD area and need a clean safe place to stay."
