「We had a great stay, nothing to complain about. The place was clean, well stocked kitchen (everything worked), comfy beds and very accommodating! We enjoyed some of the games/puzzles. Kayaks were fun. My only suggestion to owner/property manager is PLEASE remove the invasive vines covering the trees before it kills them. From the water, it definitely takes away from the beauty of this house compared to neighboring properties. Yes, there are a lot of stairs to the dock but we all managed...

「My husband and I stayed for a few days between Christmas and New Years. Although the weather was not ideal, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation! The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking the delicious local produce, and the bathroom was luxurious. 「We had a lovely stay at Smith Mountain Lake Cottage. We brought our two college age children and Golden Retriever. It was the perfect home base for kayaking on the lake and hiking at Smith Mountain Lake State Park and Peaks of Otter. We had lots of indoor and outdoor space at the house. It was clean and everything was well kept. Our hosts responded to communications quickly. We would definitely recommend this house rental.」
