"The host put a lot of thought into the space, with a cute gift of local maple syrup, a binder full of nearby things to do and restaurants, and overall the space was clean and well maintained. Nice historic location, we had fun walking around the town. This was a fun stay as we drove up for the solar eclipse and drove to our viewing area the next morning. Minus 1 star, because though the home did appear clean, there did seem to be a kitchen mouse. Made the property owner aware of this issue."

"This property was exactly as pictured and the owner was quick in communicating with us in both getting needed information to us and responding to any concerns we had. We enjoyed looking up the history of the cottage's stone work and everything about our stay here and in this lovely town. Very charming and well maintained property. "We enjoyed our stay. It was a beautiful cottage on a very nice pond. We enjoyed kayaking, eating our meals on the deck overlooking the water, and enjoying a fire every night. It also was only a couple hours away from Fort Ticonderoga, so we enjoyed going there one day. "

"Near Brattleboro and great restaurants and shopping, but remote for privacy and scenic views. The cottage was quite clean and had everything we needed. Got a bit lost when we were close, and the hosts actually drove out to where we were to help us find it. Comfy bed (we only used one bedroom), well-stocked pantry. Overall wonderful experience. "
