「It was weird when we got there. We couldn't find the entrance at first since it wasn't obvious. When we did find it, there was just a key left on the table with my name saying that everything was self-service. Not one employee in sight. It's an old property under renovation so it felt pretty creepy. Everything creaks and the walls are thin. The room was okay with a nice view of the Hudson. I did appreciate the snacks and water that was left in the lobby since the restaurant across the street is...

「The property was clean and well-maintained. There were many things to do, including a swimming pool, a hike, and a close by watering hole near a river. The rooms were very nice and the restaurant served excellent food.」

「We had a wonderful stay at Phoenicia Lodge. We stayed for two nights and went hiking in the surrounding area. The lodge is in a great location—ideal if you have a car (we didn’t, but we managed just fine). Sandra was a huge help, and the welcome was fantastic. She always gave great advice and really takes good care of her guests. I highly recommend Phoenicia Lodge.」

We did that and more at the cute little pool, the big yard with badminton set up! Everyone was super nice, accommodating and friendly! Highly recommended little motel.
