Short stay for a funeral
The cottage is in a quiet area just outside the main town and well situated for us to attend a funeral service at the Crematorium a short drive away.
The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The free WiFi was very handy as reception isn't great in the area. The single beds however are probably more suited to kids than adults but was ok for 2 nights. The bath/shower needs updating. The showerhead is very old & inefficient. My elder aunt did not feel confident to stand in the old bathtub so she couldn't shower for our stay.
They have a RV parked on the property front yard screened off a little for extra guests. We did notice that some other people were staying there during our stay and we weren't too aware of them until the last day when they were playing very loud music early in the morning and sitting outside. I would have liked to have known that it was rented at the time of my booking the cottage as the outdoor deck area faces across to the RV. Apart from these things we had a pleasant enough stay.
