"Just returned from two night stay at the Chetola Resort in celebration of our ninth anniversary. Our room was exceptional. We had a balcony and lovely view of the lake. The disc golf course was great and my husband and I played a round. We did not use the spa or the pool and hot tub but there appeared to be plenty of towels and warm water. We skipped the restaurant too. We did eat at The Moon, a Thai and sushi restaurant in Blowing Rock and highly recommend. "

"The staff made this worth staying at. We were in town for a soccer tournament and it was just me and my kids. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful. When out of towels in the pool, he personally brought in the number of towels we needed for our large group. The women at the front were great with my needy kids and so kind when something was sadly not working. The only downfall was the elevator broke the second day and the pool had to close early one night because of a minor cut from a guest. The hot tub jets didn't work one night, but we're fixed the next day. The staff tried everything they could to make accommodations, and one even offered to help my kids carry their items up the stairs. Amazing staff. Close to everything. Will definitely book here again for the next tournament ."

"Great place and I loved the fireplace in the room, it was a little chilly for May and we built a fire and were very cozy. Will stay again very soon."

"Room was adequate. You could see that the property wasn't well maintained. The air handler rattled very loud until we finally turned it off at 3am. Then the room got too cold so it was hard to get back to sleep. Told the front desk but they acted like they didn't care. Will not stay there again."

"The place was super clean, the staff was so nice! Breakfast was fresh and great with lots of choices. We will be back to stay on our next trip!! The kids said it was the best!! Thanks so much for the great experience!!"

"The property is dated, the room was clean other than the lamp shades need dusted. The front desk gentleman was friendly. Property was kept up and the location is excellent. Within walking distance of restaurants. Grocery store about 2 minutes away by car. I would definitely stay again."
