「This place is great. The location is perfect for exploring Connemara. The house is away from busy streets, thus very quiet. Our room was great, clean, well equipped bathroom. 「The accommodation is both a bar/restaurant and a b&b and sits next to the eastern pier about 400 metres from the ferry drop off. Despite my room being right above the bar - which was happy and full of chat - it was perfectly quiet in the evening. I had a great full Irish breakfast the next morning. Service was pleasant and friendly. Great!」

「Host was extremely friendly and personable. Breakfast was excellent. Only issue was one has to drive 5 to 10 minutes for dinner which may be an issue if you want to enjoy a couple of pints. Having said that, we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.」

「Michael was a great host...helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and kind. The bedroom and ensuite were spotlessly clean. There was a small common sitting area in the upstairs hall for reading, chatting or just enjoying the view. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. A buffet of many selections, plus an additional cooked to order item from the menu was available. We walked about 3-4 blocks to pubs and restaurants downtown. The grocery store was only a block away. 「We had a nice stay here. Loved Westport. Easy to walk downtown from the location. Many great options for restaurants and pubs. Room was too hot with no way to control the heat, but were able open the windows to make it comfortable. 」

「Screebe House is a beautifully peaceful getaway. We had a gorgeous view of the water. At night looking across the water was very little light. It was so peaceful. The food was very good with great portion size. Breakfast was included with a small buffet plus a made to order hot option. Dinner was a 2 or 3 course choice. I did an appetizer and main and walked away full and satisfied. The second evening we let them know that we were exploring and went to Kylemore Abbey and the Clifdon. We did not...
