There was a huge cobweb in the corner of the ceiling. We got a stained washcloth. There was an old piece of food under the bed. We only had 1 thin blanket & a sheet on the bed & when we requested an extra blanket, they said they didn't have any.

Perfect spot to relax after exploring the parks. Everything went smoothly checking in and the property was clean. Fire pit and hot tub were fantastic.

We weren't there long enough to look around, but we did like spending time at Mermet Lake and seeing the wildlife there. We weren't sure if ALL of the snakes were dangerous, but they were fun to see from a healthy distance.
No reason to visit just passing through on the way to Chicago
We were driving through town to New Orleans. Did not do any sight seeing.
