Tommie Austin, part of Jdv by Hyatt

10/10 Excellent

"Highly recommend people to check out Tommie Austin. The staff were so helpful and kind, the room was immaculate, and the gym is incredible! I didn’t even realize they had a golf simulator (free to use!) before booking but it made our trip. 10/10 stay - can’t wait to return again soon."

Holiday Inn Austin -Town Lake by IHG

8/10 Good

"I like how close it was to Rainey Street/6th Street. Those areas are in downtown Austin. It is also close to Lady Bird Lake for a relaxing time doing whatever outdoor activity you like. The breakfast offered was enough. It was not a big spread, but it was enough. I wish they had some type of lunch service available, but the hotel restaurant did not offer lunch. Only breakfast and dinner. The staff is very helpful, as is housekeeping. I mentioned a problem in the room to the housekeeping staff, and within a few minutes maintenance was there to fix the issue. Very responsive. Free parking for guests is AWESOME. It is a little noisy at night due to being in such proximity to the highway, but overall it was a good stay."
