"Excellent location in Santa Barbara that was close to the pier, shops, and eateries! Also, about fifteen minutes from UCSB. The hotel is boutique-esque without being pretentious. The room was cozy, yet spacious, clean, and bright. The facial wipes by the sink were a nice feature enjoyed by my make up wearing daughter! Additionally, the available toiletries were delightful! At the time we arrived, close to check in time, it appeared that there was only one person on staff at the front desk. We waited patiently, but people were upset that the complimentary hot water for tea was empty and the jacuzzi and pool were unavailable because the heater broke that day. I suppose this was fine since it was grey and cold outside, but it was an unavailable amenity on site. We loved the comfy beds and the great location and hope to come back again when sunnier and the pool might be available. Thanks, Mason Beach Inn!"
