ウェスト ベイのアパートスタイルホテル

「Grand Cayman Resortが見つからないと困ったが、実はHoliday Innだった。地図通りなのだが、Pinehurst Rd.からのアクセスは予想外の展開で弱った。私有地に入り込んだ気持ちになるが遠慮なく地図通りに進めばよい。誰かに尋ねるのがベスト。 コーヒー・テイーサービス、電気ポット、電子レンジあり。 シャワーのみ。 広く、ゆつったりとくつろげる。値段も値段だし。 ホテルの前は海、対岸のRum Pointが望める。」

「2泊3日の旅行。 空港からタクシーで20分ほど。夜中12時前に到着。 レストランもルームサービスも終了しており、ホテル内に売店もなし。部屋の冷蔵庫にも何も入っておらず、デリバリーピザを注文しようとしたらこちらも終了。ホテルの周りに店もなく何か購入してくればよかったと後悔しました。 ホテル内プールはありますが、メインビーチとは反対側にあり砂浜はないので、メインビーチやレストランエリアに行くには1時間に1本のシャトルバスかレンタカーをしないと楽しめません。 1泊目はベットメイクがされてなく、廊下には各部屋から出たゴミが置いてあったりと、清潔な印象はありません。2泊目も外出から戻っても掃除はされていなかったので、係りの人を呼んでタオルだけ取り替えてもらいました。 他の部屋からの音がとてもうるさく耳栓なしでは眠れないほどでした。 バスルームは広くバスタブがあるのはよかったです。 ホテル内レストランはサービスがよく美味しかったです。」

「We only had one night here but would have enjoyed more! Very spacious, clean, comfortable, with a great kitchen and washer/drier. The pool was nice and the views/access to the ocean was great. With more time and calm seas we would have snorkeled. We love staying in the West Bay - this condo is short walking distance to Macabuca/Cracked Conch and Vivo and a short drive to other excellent restaurants.」

「We were really looking forward to a relaxing stay. I was expecting to sit by the pool and catch up on some reading. My husband works a stressful job, so he really needed some peace. You will not find peace here. What the pictures do not show you is a huge construction project right next door. They start working around 8am and finish between 5pm and 6pm. 「Mary was a pleasure to work with! What an amazing host! The Villa was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The drive to find a beach and go to dinner was about 15 minutes each way. The weather was not ideal when we were there, but I’m sure it would be lovely to sit on the beach right by the Villa. We were unable to use the pool, but that was just a few steps away. The community was very, very quiet and private. Thank you, Mary for everything.」
