"Good location. Comfortable bed. Nice shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Shower is small. Quiet. Gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Complimentary coffee pods and cups outside our door were all used up when we got to it. Also, our Expedia reservation email said continental breakfast for us two was included, but owner when checking in said it was not included if we booked through Expedia and that it would be an extra $20.00 each for breakfast. A shame because we had booked here in order to have an easy quick breakfast before driving to the airport. Checking the Expedia email again we mentioned it was listed as included—the owner asked for proof and when I showed it, they then said it was wrong and it was a very uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience. I felt punished and cheated for using Expedia and if they don’t want people to book through Expedia they shouldn’t list their property on Expedia. If they don’t want breakfast listed as included on Expedia that is between the owners and Expedia, not their guests. A shame our last night on a 14 day vacation left a bad taste in our mouths over a bowl of yogurt."

"It was exactly what we needed to have a nice place to enjoy between our travels. The room was clean & tidy updated inside compared to the outside looks run down but got inside & were berry pleased we had a very nice room was great. Staff excellent, we showed up after work hours & called number on door to a very pleasant woman greeted us few minuits later & checked us in. Was a good stay we enjoyed it."

"Our stay was excellent! Host was very good in communicating prior to the stay any details needed for the place, as well as checking out. Place was beautiful and clean and had anything we needed to enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities. It’s only a few minute drive into Tatamagouche, where there was lots to enjoy. Prior to staying, host was very helpful in suggesting activities in and around the place. Thank you for a great stay, we would definitely recommend to others and would stay again!"

"The location was absolutely fantastic; five minutes walk from the harbor. Cynthia was responsive and warm. Everything was in order. Bedrooms were comfy and it was great to be able to do laundry. Highly recommend."

"If I can give 15/10 I'll give 20/10. Everything was excellent, great location great interior and outdoor environment. You can see seals, hermit crabs and mussels at the private beach access. Saw a family of black bears and a white tailed deer crossing the road on the way driving there around 17:00 P.M. This is my first time staying at a rural cottage and it was a fabulous experience. My family loved it so much!"
