A couple of drawbacks, however: the owners' need for privacy borders on obsession, with one bedroom window frosted over and sealed shut (making a dark bedroom even darker), and the double doors also closed off, with a standoffish notice guaranteed to make visitors feel like intruders. Just a short walk to historic Frome shops, alleyways, restaurants, pubs and grocery stores. The street was so quiet and the back garden with gate leading to the communal parking area was ideal for the kids.」
