I’d give this place 6 stars if I could. The very nice family was incredibly helpful in every way. I felt perfectly safe and comfy during my stay. It’s a perfect place to get a good nights sleep. All the bathroom fixtures were modern and spotless! The only thing I would have liked would have been a table lamp in addition to the single overhead room light. Did I mention Mt. Shasta and the surrounding hills? Absolutely spectacular sunset and sunrise. Good eats within a few hundred yards.

Good check-in. Room was clean. Not much pressure in shower but water was nice and hot. Office not open early morning so no coffee for the road. Was informed by the restaurant waitress that a discount coupon would be available for breakfast as the restaurant was owned by the motel proprietor. The front desk person was not aware of this but advised he would follow up and post the voucher at our door. There was no voucher early the following morning.

Overlooking majestic MtShasta. Mist of the hotel was undergoing renovation. Grounds void of landscaping. Pool closed for repairs. Clean modern room . Bathroom had squeaking sound when light was turned on. Shower layout was very unusual.

New management clearly cares about the property and the renovated rooms are pretty nice. The staff were very friendly, and the room was very clean! There were some nice touches like complimentary toothbrushes, etc. I recommend giving it a try if you’re looking for a budget stay in the area!

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Has a very small microwave and a dorm style refrigerator. Low end soaps and shampoo, no hair dryer. Overhead can lights only, no beside lamps. One light burned out and seems if they fail they just remove the light itself. Light over bath mirror was removed with wall plate installed leaving you with an overhead can light only. Not a place that they stay up on maintenance unless absolutely necessary. Didn’t use the pool but not sure if I would want to. Easy to check out, not manned 24/7 as advertised, unless calling a number for assistance counts.

Inexpensive and worked with me to allow me to check in early. They are renovating so it's not pristine but walkways and room was clean and comfortable.

Way better than when it was a chain which didn’t leave the light on anymore. New owners are upgrading property one section at a time, so limited rooms, but progressing, including re-opening pool any day now!

Room was clean and friendly staff... however found huge number of mouse droppings over multiple of the tables in the room overnight. This is potentially very dangerous due to disease and needs to be fixed immediately.

I was concerned by the outside appearance when we drove up. I was pleasantly surprised once we got in the room! I was disappointed the pool was down for maintenance after a long hot drive 😕 A nice pizza place with in walking distance was a bonus!
