Sheets had hair on them, floors weren’t clean, everything could use an update. The whole building smelled like smoke, and the bar and restaurant are closed. For a dirt cheap last minute option I can’t complain too much.

Odd check-in process, no one was at the front desk, check-in was completed on the phone and I got my room key about 3 hours later when the desk person returned. The room was clean, bed was comfortable but routine maintenance was lacking. I stayed 2 nights, room wasn't made up. Air conditioning worked well. Overpriced for what you get though. Absolutely no amenities.

The water was very hot (I steeped tea!), the water pressure was good and the towels were clean. If you think of it as a quirky self-serve room, with no assistance, allow 15 min to 3 hours to check in, bring your own toilet paper and cleaning supplies, it’s totally fine. Some nice bakeries etc. in walking distance. I would love to see the staff there get about 800% more support: training, processes, more staff, clearer communication and role definition, and probably better pay.

You don’t know when you book into the hotel that it’s two stories with no elevator. On the website, it says that there’s a restaurant or bar there. That’s been closed and I don’t know for how long so this is very misleading. You don’t know that you don’t have coffee in your room. You don’t know that you might find a clump of hair that’s been washed in the sheets in your bed. You don’t know that someone will have left clothes from their previous visit in your dresser doors. The front staff person was friendly, but all she did was give us our keys and there wasn’t any need for anything else. Don’t bother staying here: pay the extra money and go to the Travelodge up the road.

Did not even stay there. We went to another hotel. No restaurant or bar anymore. No amenities. No staff, only the owner behind the window. Very dark, messy hallway. Bed seemed ok. But room was tiny and hot. Microwave balanced on fridge. No desk. No seating. Just a bed. Very old.
