"We stayed a whole week in the apartment and could not have had a better time there! Bernard picked us up from the train station and welcomed us with fresh coconuts. "I came to the hotel directly from airport at night time. Staff not friendly at all . I was checked out after 2 days so i left my adapter and charger next to my bed. I called the front desk after 5 hours I realised I forgot it there. Front desk management was yelling at me saying they found only adapter and there is no charger. So I was very disappointed…. I was wondering how it could be both was there… I can not trust this hotel management because what about if I let something more valuable than charger. I was Sri Lankan for 15 days vacation so I avoided raddison hotels …"

"Location excellent don’t let that mislead you to stay in this Hotel it’s a dirty run-down hotel with worse food and staff. property is beyond dirty. This use to be a very nice hotel and known for Sri Lankan food and even that they are the worse now. We stayed in 7 Hotels in Sri Lanka on this trip this is the only bad place we experience avoid this hotel by all means."

"Lovely stay the hotel was very lovely nice staff very clean and lovely pool and grounds. Bentota was very quiet tho no beach bars restaurants nearby accessible from the beach. But there was more in town if you want to venture out. Drawback was the noise from the train its horn sounds intermittently from around 5am but that didn’t seem to bother others as much as us. If you like a beer have a few in your fridge for the moon festivals x "

"5 star worthy hotel on a beautiful beach. Food was outstanding with a huge choice - recommend all inclusive as the prices were also 5 star! Best desserts ever had. Great tour guide on the beach and hotel water sports. Most seemed to travel through - we stayed 10 days. Will definitely be going back. Only tiny complaint was the pool bar staff were quite slow and not up to the standards as the rest of the hotel but not far to walk to get your own. Seemed short staffed with a few weddings and conferences on. Good for couples and kids. My son learnt to surf on the beach. "

"Outdoor surroundings are beautiful, clean and well kept with easy access to a sandy beach. Pool is large and easily accessible. Food is lovely with a huge choice in the buffet. There's also an Italian restaurant and noodle bar on site. I think all rooms have a lovely view over the Indian Ocean. Staff are very attentive, kind and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I hope to return next year."
