The house was an absolute dream! We loved every inch of the lodge, the attention to detail and care put into the space made it so welcoming and comfortable. There was so much to admire inside but obviously the beauty outside is what really captured our attention. Such an incredible location, we loved every minute of being there and would love to come back soon!

The giant windows, the trees and the river, and the fireplace were exquisite. Well stocked kitchen. Like most all rentals, only scratched non-stick pots and pans available. But! They had an electric kettle! As a tea drinker, I was so pleased. The home and property are just beautiful! Don’t hesitate:)

Beautiful property . Amazing swimming in river and lots of wildlife viewing ! House is on the older side but everything worked well and was comfortable and fit two families great ! Their cleaning needs some work . When we first got in there were giant flies all over all the windows . Multiple people asked is there something dead in here ? We needed to use a pull out couch bed and when opens it was disgusting. Probably hasnt been cleaned in forever . The ice machine looks like it’s never emptied of water and was completely moldy . Which made us not want to use Kuerig either ! When has that been cleaned ? Lots of other coffee option though . Well stocked with everything u need in kitchen no basic cooking essentials though only salt and pepper . ( no oils or other basics ) . Lots of towels which was amazing ! And a beautiful hot tub !!! Beds were comfortable ! Lots of light bulbs out . Close to race track which we came for . And fun waterfalls close by . Naked falls was our favorite . Also there was some wood inlaid artwork on outside of house that made us uncomfortable and I’m really surprised they are renting this out with said design on side of house . Price was steep for stay !

The location of the stay is stunning! Unfortunately a couple of details when we arrived that didn't go smoothly. Connecting to the internet was not smooth and when asked for support to the 24 assistance number nothing changed.The person we spoked too said that someone was going to call back and no one did at the house land line. We had no phone service and families were not able to locate us. We managed to connect to it after discovering that the wrong password and other was incorrectly. Other items such lighters to light up the fire place were not working. Anyways.. my Family and I had a great time and loved the area after the first night. Thank you.

**Magical Location** We had a memorable stay at this vacation rental, thanks in large part to its magical location. The property is nestled beside a beautiful, accessible river that was perfect for swimming and soaking in the natural surroundings—truly a highlight of our visit. The house itself was charming, with a lovely aesthetic, but it’s showing its age in some areas. The kitchen and one bathroom are outdated and could benefit from a refresh. While the beds were clean, they unfortunately weren’t very comfortable, which affected our sleep quality. One of the strengths of this rental is how well-stocked it was. From kitchenware to extra linens and towels, it’s clear the owner has thoughtfully considered what guests might need during their stay. We appreciated this attention to detail. Cleanliness was mostly satisfactory, but there were a few areas that need more attention. While the house appeared clean on the surface, it desperately needed dusting under the furniture and beds, and the vents were visibly caked in dust, which was hard to overlook. A couple of other issues slightly detracted from the experience. We were initially given the wrong Wi-Fi login, which caused some frustration before we finally found the correct information in a binder. Also, all the door handles were loose and needed tightening, which gave the house a slightly neglected feel. Overall, the stay had many enjoyable aspects, especially the setting and the care taken

Paradise

This cabin is one of the most stunning rentals we have ever stayed in. The home is absolutely incredible and the location is practically magical. Everything was absolutely perfect. The rooms were all designed with incredible touches and beautiful artistry.

Relaxing getaway

The only challenge was finding the location in the dark so I suggest driving during the daylight. Overall the stay was great. The house felt homey and I loved the addition of the wood fireplace. The hot tub was great for the cold at night. I would recommend this home for anyone looking to get away and get disconnected!

Amazing Location

The location of this home is remarkable. Views of the river from almost every room. Bald eagles seemed to have favorite spots in the trees across the river (seen from the living room with the handily provided binoculars). My daughter is asking if we can visit again in the summer. Note - bring coffee if you are a caffeine addict like me - there is none on site. But very cute local coffee shop 15 minutes away.

We didn't want to leave!

This home is nestled into a beautiful wooded area along the Washsougal River. It was so peaceful and relaxing that we could have stayed another week or two. The log cabin is spacious and quaint. It provided everything we needed from a stocked kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of towels and chairs for hanging riverside. I enjoyed running along the winding roads that provided gorgeous views. We would love to come back and stay here again. We didn't want to leave!

Surprise inside

The home was beautiful and the online photos did not do it justice. Make sure you check your emails and Vacasa app for info the day before arriving for entry info and screenshot it. service on phones was impossible. No problem once connected to WIFI.

The Best Getaway in YEARS!!

I highly recommend this home. It was just far enough out but close enough to run into the stores as well. The internet was slow and we loved every minute of that. We played games, did puzzles, cooked amazing meals, drank adult drinks, fished, walked trails, read books, relaxed in the hot tub, sat on the upper balcony watched the river go by, enjoyed the warmth and crackling of the fire, and slept like a baby. It was the PERFECT fall break that was so desperately needed.
