"Just got back from a nice stay here. This small farm is well tucked away. The only sounds youll hear are the animals. Adrian the owner was very nice with plenty of local tips to enhance our stayv and happy to tell you all about the rare breads on his farm. "Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost.
The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! The hosts even offered to provided a telescope to use for the clear nights, which was a very nice touch (we did bring our own) We will be returning again in the future."

"Came here for a short stay. The bungalow was clean on arrival and all the necessaties of a home away from home facilities were in place (large fridge/freezer), cooker, TV/Wifi, shower etc and worked as expected.
The bungalow was very warm and the heating a little hard to work out how to adjust to get it cooler but with the large patio door it wasn't such a problem.
The place does look a little dated with some older styled furntiure but it was all comfy and for the price I have no complaints. ...

"I had not realised in advance that it was a net carbon neutral hotel. I was absolutely amazed by all the design and actions that were at work to make this hotel eco-friendly. Brilliant - if this hotel can do it, so can most others!
Elegant Skandi look to all the architecture, inside and out, all practical and with a purpose, but attractive also.
Bed comfortable, bathroom great (shower excellent) and I was able to have fresh air through a filter panel in the window also.
Room was reasonably priced.
Dinner was good and priced OK.
Continental breakfast was very nice; the cooked breakfast not so successful, and I think at £20 was overpriced.
Otherwise all wonderful and a lovely surprise!"

"The moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed with the outstanding beauty of the countryside and with the quality of the hotel which was also very spacious. We felt very pampered by the facilities provided. Maria in charge of the breakfast showed unprecedented professionalism and was very welcoming.
I would have liked to have seen a few seats scattered around outside, other than just by the clubhouse. Nevertheless we will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff."

"Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is within close distance to the Rail Station, Cricket Stadium & Town Centre. Staff were great & very helpful. Bedroom was large & comfortable & despite being near the road was fairly quiet. Bathroom needed updating but was large. For the price I paid, the room comfort, staff & location I would say this hotel is perfect & will definitely be staying again."

"Stayed again at the venue but this time midweek the only small criticism I have is that they chose not to do filter coffee jugs at breakfast which was disappointing as was very welcome at the weekend when clearly more guests were staying. I would however suggest just keeping one jug on the go in mid-week would have been nice"
