A gorgeous rural setting and unobstructed views of the Green Mountains await at this inviting country home in the outskirts of Wardsboro. From the covered porch and the classic red barn to the sloping grounds that are perfect for sledding, this is the quintessential Vermont experience.

This one-story home sits just over a mile from small-town Wardsboro, on an expansive piece of property that's beautiful in every season. It's a lovely home base for outdoor adventures, with Mount Snow to the south (nine miles), Stratton Mountain up north (13 miles), and Green Mountain National Forest all around you.

Summer days here are a wonder, whether you're having coffee and breakfast on the front porch, watching your kids play tag in the grass, or catching an afternoon nap in one of the two hammocks. The winter is every bit as alluring after a day of skiing, with the surrounding mountains dusted in snow and the provided logs crackling in the woodstove.

Inside, find all the familiar comforts of home, including a well-equipped eat-in kitchen, a light-filled living room, and a cozy den in the finished basement where you can watch movies each evening. A private washer/dryer, complimentary WiFi, and a portable air conditioner are provided as well.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
