"My wife and I had a very pleasant stay in Magdeburg. The Hammer's were very friendly and provided us with many suggestions for our trips, - mainly on our bicycles. We did not have to use our car the four days we were there. Our accomodation was an extra house with all the necessary utensils, and then there was the pool which we were free to use. All in all. We can only recommend the place."

"We had a wonderful stay in Quedlinburg with Mrs Buchman who most generously shared her garden, her time and her advice. Having internet access was great, beds were warm and comfy, kitchen well equipped and an easy walk to supermarket (Lidl). Quick walk to train station, easy and pleasant stroll in to the old town."

"We, my wife and our two little kids, 5 and 8, stayed for 3 nights at the Himmlischer Hof in Quedlinburg and we truly had the most wonderful time. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a medieval house, more than 500 years old. It is so beautifully decorated and the owners did such an amazing job renovating it with so much attention to detail that we felt at home right away. On top of that some generous welcome goodies were awaiting us when we arrived. The location couldn't be any better....

"We loved staying here. The space was very comfortable, private, and the courtyard was a great spot to chill at the end of each day. The building is listed in the Fachwerk Museum in Quedlinburg (worth visiting if you want to understand how such places were built historically) as having been constructed in 1485! The hosts (who live in the building) were very kind and communicative."

"Wir waren für ein paar Tage Anfang April in Mahndorf. Der Gutshof ist super schön zwischen Feldern an der Holtemme gelegen, mit einem sehr großen Garten. Wer Ruhe und Landidyll sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Er ist auch ein super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Wernickerode, Blankenburg und Quedlinburg sind schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Niklaus und seine Familie waren sehr freundlich und unkompliziert."
