7.8/10 Good! (238 reviews)
Hotel located just outside the airport zone. Typical for a Kenyan hotel, no frills, clean bed and bath, not so modern decor. I needed a place for a quick overnight before heading out again early in the morning. There are nicer, closer hotels to the airport but at 3x the price.
Staff was attentive even though it was the middle of the night. Kitchen already closed but they offered to get me something from an outside restaurant.
Would certainly use them again.

Decent if you just want a place for the night next to Wildon airport. The hotel arranged a driver to pick us up at 2AM at JKIA which was great.

"Staff wasn’t very friendly, but helpful. Room was super old and tiny, bathroom dingy. At least there was hot water. Great pool and restaurant, but took forever for dinner every night. Great coffee house, and workout room."

Lagoon Resort & Spa
Thiba River Kutus Kirinyaga County
8/10 Very Good! (1 review)
"I like the fact that it's close to the river which had a spectacular sight. What I did not like is the fact that Expedia did not pay for my booking despite getting the payment from me. Very bad manners from an organisation. I would not recommend anyone to book for their stay via Expedia .com."
