Wamego looks really nice. Much better than many small towns. The downtown was active and they have really embraced the Wizard of Oz theme.

"The hotel was charming, although a bit of an older model. It had a nice swimming area and the breakfast was delicious. Personally my favorite part of the hotel was its staff. They were pleasant and friendly and did their best to make your stay troublefree."

The Friendship House has an AWESOME breakfast and bakery. We enjoyed driving around the town and looking at houses and shops. Over all it was a neat town!

We were there during the Tulip Festival and it was wonderful! We loved all the quaint shops and ease of walking everywhere. Even with our young kids.
