"Recently built on the second floor of a downtown building there are several units and a conference area associated with this property. Walked around the corner to a great dinner at the Plaza Hotel, no problem finding street parking. Unit was very clean and quiet. When we had problems with the thermostat the owner immediately sent over the handyman who fixed it promptly. If trains bother you consider earplugs if they enchant you the BN runs through town and can be heard at night."

"Our family gathered at the ranch for a few days of connection and rest. The property is amazing-expansive and beautiful. The ranch house, bunk house and tiny house were extremely clean and comfortable. The Kenneys have been good stewards of their land. Their love for the ranching way of life is evident in every detail. "The home was very clean and comfortable. It has very nice amenities. The view of the mountains & location was what we pay to see! The morning we left it snowed 8-10 inches & there wasn’t any electricity. The housekeeper was quick to get in touch with us to offer assistance. That was much appreciated but we didn’t need it."

"We travel to Rye a couple of times per year to visit family and since there’s no room for us with family we need a place close by to stay. This met all of our needs. It’s comfortable, well stocked and has a fenced yard for our little dogs. It’s close to our family but there’s also plenty to do and see while you’re there. We drove to Westcliiffe and saw the beautiful fourteeners mountain range and ate lunch at Chappy’s Bar and Grill. We highly recommend it for the beautiful scenery and good food!...

"This is the second time we have stayed here and once again, it was great. This property very well appointed and well maintained. It is a short walk to Main St. La Veta, which is very nice. Sitting on the deck in the afternoon, with the sun and the Cuchara River is very relaxing. It is a great choice!"

"We had such a nice time staying at this cabin. There are a couple well maintained hiking trails around the property. The scenery while hiking the trails, and the view of the Spanish peaks from the cabin were beautiful! It's obvious that a lot of love has gone into the upkeep of this property. "We spent our time at Cuchara Park and this home was the perfect location for us. The Host goes above and beyond here. I highly recommend this place - I will still hear next time we come through La Veta. The house has everything you need! Perfect for a man like me who loves chopping wood and having fires. The inside had a big kitchen for the wives. The rooms have tons of board games for the kids. You will love this place; I know we did."

"The room furnishing is a bit dated with basic wear and tear for its age, but it is very clean. It smells fresh upon entering. They even provide boutique-typed toiletry items that are different from other low-budget hotel chains that I normally don't use but I did take home with me this time. I had to switch out the first room they gave me due to a faulty AC unit missing a turning knob, and it got resolved right away. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. You get a gorgeous mountain view behind the hotel property, which is located very conveniently off the interstate exit. There are two restaurants just across the street. There are few basic breakfast items comparable to the nightly rate you pay."
