"So close to everything, shops, beach, ocean view was fantastic."

"Sadly disappointing and not worth the price. Charged 4.5 stars fee for a very dated apartment and lack of wifi access - with appliances that don’t work. Broken freezer and the solution was a plug in freezer that had been used for fish storage (so stinky that we couldn’t open the doors to the refrigerator or freezer) - a washer that faulted and couldn’t complete the spin cycle. Vent covers that were open with dirt falling from the ceiling - a gym that was outdated and sad …. And, we were told we could not use the air-conditioning unit below 23. (This was not disclosed to us on booking). No guest wifi in common areas - and no wifi in unit while the laundry is running. Location is great, but I would not recommend for the price. "

"Lovely hotel, did not offer dinner and coffee was only available when the bar was open. The food at the twin towers centre was basic and not good. Great restaurants along the esplanade. The staff were very lovely "

"The room was clean and the property is in a great location. Be aware that you need to go to another location to collect the key pass and also this needs to be returned to another location by the check out time for this particular room which is 9am. One of the cupboard doors was broken too. It does have a small fridge, and dishes need to be washed in the vanity basin. It would be more convenient to be able to collect key passes at the property and also have the later checkout time. The Oaks Calypso is in a terrific position and the pool area is great. "

"Great location, walk out to the shops to the rear of the property with the beach out the front. Stayed with family, highly recommend! "

"We had requested a walk in shower which was provided, with grab rails beside the toilet, which was idea for my mobility challenged spouse. Our room (17th floor) overlooked the pool and tennis court, with distant views of the Tweed River and ocean beyond. There is a single split system air conditioner in the dining room, and ceiling fans in all rooms which kept the room temperature pleasant."

"Clean room, and staff were good although very little interaction with them. Bed was comfortable and aircon quiet and effective. TV was a not user friendly and quite small. Overall our stay was pleasant enough."
