"Great location, many restaurants and stores in the area, easy trains to downtown tokyo and surrounding areas. Great place to stay."

"This is a wonderful place to stay. The area was clean, and the property provided helpful instructions for garbage disposal, transportation, and places to go nearby. This is an amazing location that is extremely close to Shinjuku downtown, and many other cities by train. The property was extremely responsive, and supported us through check in processes. I would recommend this stay! Thank you Gennoya!"

"Fantastic location!"

"Our host Yoshi and the staff at Toe Library were incredibly welcoming, offering us tips around the neighborhood and, when we left, a bag of delicious Japanese cookies. The room itself was cozy, well-appointed, and full of personality—and we especially appreciated that because we happened to be there during a typhoon and spent a lot of time lounging there as we waited for the worst of the storm to pass. This is a completely unique stay and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo."

"The location was great, the staff speaks impeccable English and has good recommendations"

"Excellent place to stay. Clean and safe. "

The very kind owner/host offers a comfortable place to stay with excellent hospitality and flexibility for not just solo travellers but couples and even small groups. The location is just a short walk from the station with plenty of shops nearby to meet your short-term shopping needs. The spacious room with the basic furnishings proved to be a great...

"Very friendly personal! Very clean! Room is near from the center"

"The first thing you should know is that this is not a hotel. It's an apartment with two flats, one on the second floor and one on the third floor, above a storefront about half way between the Ueno and Asakusa stations. That said, it's not bad as a rental apartment, and was a good fill-in for us when our Air BnB booking was cancelled on short notice. All of the communication with the owner was via the Expedia site - we never met anyone in person, but got check-in instructions via messages...
