It was quiet and an easy to walk to breakfast and close to King St for shopping, etc. Although we didn't really 'cook,' the kitchen was well equipped and we did appreciate the open floor plan. (We opted to have meals out so as to sample Charleston's fine cuisine!) Bedrooms were private and beds very comfortable. 「We were 4 childhood friends looking for a central location that would be convenient to shops and restaurants but also provided a refuge where we could just enjoy each other. The Beat was perfect. It was very clean and modern but had authentic touches from its historic past. Super close to King Street but also small neighborhood bars and restaurants. The host was very responsive and helpful. The unit comes with on parking space but there is a parking deck about a block away on King Street. ...
