The place is a great place for a long get-together; enjoy the large backyard, grill, and fire pit. The indoor has a lot of board games and is near many attractions like the zoo, Brazos River, and Mongolian market.
We had a group of six adult women celebrating our time together at Baylor after 50+ years. The home was perfect for our group. The spacious home with five bedrooms and three bathrooms made for a perfect scenario to accommodate our group. The location was perfect for all the activities we wanted to enjoy. I would recommend this home to any and all.

Fun 2-day trip
This house was really great! Very spacious and neatly decorated. They even had a Christmas tree and other decorations up! The house is well stocked with necessary items. The house alarm and locked gate to put the cars inside made us feel safe and secure. Overall, very pleased with our stay here!

Mad pippy
The neighborhood while convenient to everything is a run down neighborhood. Did not feel safe to walk around. Night time on weekends was busy with car traffic and party noise. The floor plan was ideal for our 7 nomen (one handicap) bedrooms separated. Beds and furniture were comfortable. There were minor issues lighting plumbing appliance related. All addressed timely when possible but not completely. The overall renovations were good.
The house was perfect for our stay while visiting Waco for a wedding. There was plenty of room for all 5 couples to feel comfortable, and it was equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood is a bit run down, but would still book again.
Rented this house to celebrate my 50th birthday party with friends and family and it was a great experience

Wi-Fi is an issue and the tv doesn’t work without the Wi-Fi. There is only one tv in to entire house. The property could be cleaner, very dusty as if it hadn’t been used in quite a while. Great location near the university and stadium. Plenty of room for a big family like ours. Thanks for letting us rent!
This house and property are even better than it looks online. You will love everything about this place, from the thoughtful kitchen and bathroom, to the most comfortable beds and bedding you could find.
We look forward to our next stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at The Mod Poppy! There was tons of room for our family of six adults and three children. I really appreciated all the little extras, like toiletries, games, etc. that were included.
We rented this house for a family reunion, and it's a beautiful home. The rooms are large and comfortable. The living area is spacious, and the kitchen is great for cooking for a crowd. The backyard is fully fenced-in and is great for outdoor games.
We had a party of 12 - 6 adults and 6 children ages 1 year to 11 years old. The house was perfect as far as rooms, bathrooms, kitchen fully stocked and large backyard. This home was close to every attraction we visited, zoo, Hawaiian Falls, museums coffee shops and the Homestead. My only issue was the floors of the house should have been cleaned better. The bathroom floors had human hair and there was a lot of dog hair particularly in one bedroom along with the rug in the den. other than that, the house was great, and I would rent again.
Came to a Waco for a family wedding. 4 adult couples, 1 teen and 2 kiddos. Plenty of beds, plenty of bathrooms. Secure parking for 4 vehicles. The neighborhood is older but at no time did we feel unsafe. Would absolutely stay here again!
The house is great! 5 bedrooms/3 bathrooms - perfect for 7 adults and 5 children. It was so nice to have a big back yard for the kids to go outside and play. Loved the fire pit and seating around it. 3 vehicles fit nicely behind the locked fenced in backyard and because of it's L shaped yard - the kids had plenty of room to play. I definitely recommend this home.
This house was great for our party of 9. It has 5 bathrooms and 3 baths so we were able to sleep comfortably and move around the house without being on top of each other. Location is terrific with regards to getting to Baylor campus and Magnolia hot spots. Neghborhood is a bit sketchy but on the rise and the fenced in driveway made us feel very safe. Nice park, literally across the street for the kiddos. I highly recommend this property and hope it is available next time we travel to Waco!
Great home for a large family. Plenty of places to sleep and the back yard was fun. Property manager made check in really easy. We have rented lots of homes for business and vacations and this home by far was the most supplied. Everything extra you can think of was supplied.....toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, coffee, filtered water, blow dryers and even extra trash bags. We really appreciate the little things when traveling out of state. Thank you again for a great stay.
This is an incredible property located in an increasingly revitalized East Waco. The host’s attention to detail and the awesome amount of space makes this an ideal spot for a family or group. We were a little concerned about the neighborhood but had no issues. The large parking area inside the locked gate kept everything safe and secure. The large backyard has awesome amenities for outdoor fun. The house is completely stocked with everything you might need for your stay. The communication of the host and ease of check in/check out made the whole experience first rate.
It was a beautiful property with everything we needed. The property allowed our extended family a place to visit and celebrate our daughter’s graduation. Baylor was only 5 min away. Location was a little sketchy as it was across the corner from a park that had a strong policy presence with multiple officers talking with young men in our yard. We always felt safe, never took advantage of parking our vehicles behind gate. I would use this property again and would recommend to anyone.
Check in/out -easy
Things we noticed:
The interior doors were sticking, scrapping the floor and difficult to open and close especially the front bathroom and the back bedroom doors. Low to moderate water pressure in back bath sink and the bath (sink) by the kitchen. Condensation in air conditioning unit in running into the pan. Should probably have it checked. A couple of soft spots in the floor near the end of the island in the kitchen. Biting insects in the back yard around the chairs. Could be fleas, tiny spiders or ants. Should probably need to spray. Things I mentioned before ice maker not working, missing remote for fan/light in bedroom by kitchen, batteries for alarm system and intermittent internet. Would like to know where you got the ceiling lights/fans in the bedrooms. The were awesome. Read the instructions about leaving but we are in the habit of leaving sheets & towels in the laundry room, washing dishes and carrying out trash. All of this because we are all mid 60’s and older. Mostly older. Have a blessed day and we loved the house.
We had a great mother daughter girl friends night in Waco. The home was in a perfect location with plenty of space for all of us. The managers were very accessible and accommodating to a special request. It was a great time. Thanks
