Container home with rooftop views and pickleball

Summary:
Unique Container home Stay with rooftop views and pickleball.

As seen on YouTube! This featured container home offers updated style, a comfortable queen bed, and a rooftop deck with serene pasture views perfect for watching horses graze and sunsets.

Walk to the many shops & restaurants (Cafe Homestead is our favorite...) at Homestead Heritage, all just 12 mins from the heart of Waco.

The Space:
This unique home started as a 40' shipping container! It's been fully modernized and makes for an unforgettable stay.

You'll love the rooftop deck; it's softly lit and is a beautiful place to enjoy pasture views with a glass of wine as the sun goes down.

Inside you'll find all the modern amenities for your trip to Waco-- a smart TV with seating space, a plush Queen-sized bed, a functional kitchenette with coffee, and a full-sized bathroom with custom tiled shower. Fun fact: 100+ year-old reclaimed barn wood was used for trim to bring in some old-world character.

And when you’re ready to get active, head to our brand-new pickleball court!

Everything at Homestead Heritage—Cafe Homestead, Homestead coffee roasting, and the Homestead Craft Village—is just a short walk away. There's so much to do, eat, learn, and see while you're here.

We can't wait to share this space with you!

Guest Access:
You'll have the entire container to yourself, of course, plus access to some community spaces like the pickleball court, picnic area, Homestead Heritage shops and restaurants.

The Neighborhood:
Great, safe neighborhood in the country just north of Waco. 5 minutes off I-35 and 3 minutes from Cafe Homestead and Homestead Craft Village. Only 8 minutes from the Waco airport.

Getting Around:
You can park right at the house and Uber is available.

Interaction with Guests:
We live right around the corner so are available for anything you need.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Cozy little place! Very clean. Loved seeing the horses in the field across from the property. They have a little market in the neighborhood with homemade icecream. Reminded me of Little House on the Prairie days! It was amazing!

We asked if we could get an air mattress and they brought us a brand new one within 20 minutes. Very quick to respond to any questions we had. Wife and kids really enjoyed playing pickle ball instead of staring at screens.

My husband and I spent a night at one of the units they had and it was such a cool experience. It was our first time staying in a container home and the accommodation was fabulous. Everything was clean and they provided a lot of travel size stuff for the bathrooms. It had everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway. One minor con that we had was that there were 4-5 flies in the container and it was quite the hassle to get rid of them. Other than that, we would definitely come back again!

Staying here feels like a slice of heaven. Very quite and peaceful while feel completely comfy and at home. Enjoy a cup of coffee while sitting on the rooftop and relaxing. We’re beyond happy with our stay and hope to visit again

Couch and queen mattress had multiple large stains. Would not consider this five star quality.

It was such a beautiful place to wake up to and sit on the roof and drink a cup of coffee! Even on a cold morning it warms the heart! Horses in the fields and lots of birds and other wildlife! 🤩🤠

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the container home. It is right across the field from the Heritage Homestead which was incredible. It was a lovely get away.

This home was a cozy experience and didn’t lack anything. Clean and nicely decorated. The owners were very responsive and communicated every detail. I was flustered driving in rain and kept going around trying to locate which house and I couldn’t locate email with info on house number and decided to send a text asking and they responded in seconds with house number just as I pulled up to the home...perfect timing!

This was my second time staying in one of these cargo homes in two months, and my mother’s first time. It’s a great place to relax and escape from the rest of the world.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this tiny home. It was beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, and had all the supplies I needed for my brief stay. The location of the home was close to Magnolia Market. The host was in touch throughout the process and made checking in and out a breeze. I will definitely stay here again.
