"The room is inside an old cottage. The bathroom downstairs has no cover on its small window - which could have been replaced with stained glass or even stickers easily for more privacy. Lots of crackling sound when walking on upper floor, which is normal for this type of property. Bright sides: Clean room. Excellent breakfast and super friendly staff. Free parking. Nice nature around the area."

"A very nice stay in Silkeborg. Lovely helpful staff at check-in. Nice and spacious suite 9 in the old building. I wouldn’t choose a room in the main building which has the feeling still of an old hospital in the corridors. The hotel has a very nice garden setting and peaceful location just outside the city centre and close to a beautiful lakeside swimming area. Easy parking onsite. "Almost excellent. Charming. Beautifully decorated. Convenient to Aarhus & Silkeborg. Rooms could have used a lick of fresh paint and bathrooms needed updating. Also a vacuum in the hallway. Dinner in the dining room was very well prepared, albeit with a limited menu. Could easily be so much more. Still, we enjoyed it more than the star ratings suggest. So romantic!"
